Blessed Be Your Name
In the land that is plentiful
Where Your streams of abundance flow
Blessed be Your name
Blessed Be Your name
When I'm found in the desert place
Though I walk through the wilderness
Blessed Be Your name
Every blessing You pour out
I'll turn back to praise
When the darkness closes in, Lord
Still I will say
Blessed be the name of the Lord
Blessed be Your name
Blessed be the name of the Lord
Blessed be Your glorious name
Blessed be Your name
When the sun's shining down on me
When the world's 'all as it should be'
Blessed be Your name
Blessed be Your name
On the road marked with suffering
Though there's pain in the offering
Blessed be Your name
Every blessing You pour out
I'll turn back to praise
When the darkness closes in, Lord
Still I will say
Blessed be the name of the Lord
Blessed be Your name
Blessed be the name of the Lord
Blessed be Your glorious name
Blessed be the name of the Lord
Blessed be Your name
Blessed be the name of the Lord
Blessed be Your glorious name
You give and take away
You give and take away
My heart will choose to say
Lord, blessed be Your name

A good advertisement, I think! Watch the video first. I was putting what I thought at top but it's kind of spoiled the pleasure of watching it. So I leave it in the end. see the link below:

I was translating a speaking last week and am still woring on a cartoon at the moment. And hope that I will finish it early next week. That's what I have been doing in the office those days.
Besides that, one of our free lance has too many projects at hands and she has worked at least 15hours a day to meet the deadline. So she asked me if Icould help to translate a novel, even just one chapter will help. She is a very experienced free lance. Therefore, I take this oppertunity to learn and this is the area I'd never try. So, I had been working on one chapter after work last week. I worked 3 nights last week and 8 hours today.

I am wondering why I have felt so happy those days? Nothing new happened and it seems that there is no particular reason. Actually, sometimes I feel I am almost crushed by the working load. I had worked from 9am-11:00pm those days but I am just so happy. I figure it out today.
How can a person who is in the time of difficulty with a big smile and true joy and happiness in mind everyday?

終於等到這一天啦
UK Border Agency--
Visa-free access for Taiwanese visitors to the UK from 3 March 2009 (09/02/2009)
The British Trade & Cultural Office (BTCO) today announced that from 3 March 2009 Taiwan passport-holders who wish to visit the United Kingdom for less than six months on business or as a tourist, family visitor or student visitor will no longer require a visa.
Those wishing to stay in the UK more than six months, or to live, work, marry or study there on courses over six months, will continue to require a visa as before.
The decision announced today is based on the world-wide review of visa regimes carried out by the UK Borders Agency in 2007-08.
“Britain enjoys strong commercial and cultural ties with Taiwan”, David Campbell, the BTCO’s new Director said. “Lifting the visa requirement for stays of less than six months will help to build on that to the benefit of both British and Taiwanese people.”
Taiwanese visiting the UK after 3 March 2009 must still satisfy UK authorities at the port of entry that they meet the admission requirements on arrival in the UK. As with all those who can visit the UK without a visa, they must carry with them in their hand luggage relevant supporting documents such as flight tickets, evidence of funding, letters from sponsors or businesses they are visiting, or the school they plan to study at.
The BTCO received over 28,000 visa applications in 2008. After 3 March 2009, that figure is expected to fall to 6-8,000 a year.

What we all need to know!!
quote from Robert Schuller's preaching
"One of the great influences of my life, as many of you know, was Dr. Viktor Frankl. In my mind probably the premier psychiatrist of this 20th century, died at the age of 92. And he's taught me a lot and I've learned much from him, from his books, from his lectures, and from his friendship. I'll never forget how he said once, "The 'is' must never catch up with the ought." If you've had goals and they've been realized what you have to do, you need a new goal. As Dr. Frankl put it so wisely and well in the Old Testament the Israelites were led to the Promised Land. How? By a pillar of fire at night and by a cloud by day. "Never catch up with your goals," Dr. Frankl said. The is must never catch up with the ought. Purpose must be continually within your life to impassion you. What is my purpose? It's a Person. His name is Jesus Christ."

Got in touched with friends whom I worked with in China few years ago. Even though hadn't really keep in touch those years, it's just like before when we talked last night. It's a pity I couldn't see them. Three are still in Shannxi, two moved to Xining, two moved to Hainan and one went back to the USA ( will be back this April).
I have always wanted to visit them again, somehow there is no chance. I started to think I might get to visit them again soon after the talk, or we can meet somewhere in the middle. B also started to think that she might visit Taiwan someday. It seems not possible before but now she feels that nothing is impossible. Indeed!

went to xiamen on Thursday with my bro. It has been 5 years since I last visit. We only stayed for 2 days this time. It really changed a lot-lots of new buildings and shops. 5 years ago, those shops looks a bit old fashion and you know it's china. Now the department store and shops look no difference like Taipei in some way- quite mordern.
interesting things:
1) many vanders were selling cigratte and wine from Taiwan.
2) the price went very high. 5 years ago, you could have a nice meal for 2.5 RMB. Now you have to pay at least 10RMB and the food isn't very good.

昨天再次把小王子看了一遍
距離上次讀它 應該有四年之久了吧
這次一邊看一邊哭得唏哩嘩啦
我想我懂了裡面的一些東西了
