in love with Christ
quoted from pastor Chan. He challenged us,as a believer, can we honestly say, we are in love with jesus?
I’ve been in some beautiful places around this earth, traveling around and it’s interesting because so many of those places as beautiful as they are, I don’t really enjoy it because maybe my wife couldn’t come with me. I don’t know if you’ve ever been in a place where everything’s beautiful except the person you love isn’t there. And suddenly it’s like oh, it doesn’t matter how beautiful the scenery is, it’s different because I wanted to experience it with her and is that true of your relationship with Jesus Christ, that it’s Him that you’re madly in love with. And heaven wouldn’tbe heaven without Him because the other stuff is just stuff.

almighty and kind
a dialogue in a novel I read. It seems answer a q: how can God be kind and almight at the same time? The idea looks like contrdict to each other. The question was if God loves us and is able to help us, then He shall protect human beings from suffering. It seems that He is almight, yet has no mercy. or He is kind, yet He is not able to help ppl.
So if you imagine that you had a kid, would you love him/her? Would you try to protect him/her from suffering? Next q, will you allow him/her to ride a bike? Sure, ppl would and would tell them to be careful. As a father, you might just tell him/her some basic rules to follow and let them work it out. But what if they make a mistake and hurt themselves? The kid will learn to be more careful next time. So even if a father has the power to interupt and protect kids from suffering, but the way you love him/her is to allow him/her to make their own choices and learn their lessons.

What is love?
Have read few defination about love.
1)Love is overwhelming concerns for another's well-being without any regards of what you get for return.
2)Love is a choice.
Do I really know what is love? Not even closed. I guess this is the lesson we all need to learn every single day of our life. Another difficult lesson is to learn to accept other's love for us. None of them is easy. Yet this is the lesson God wants His ppl to learn. I have to say if this is my assignment, then I definetely need to re-submit.

I've realized
I've realized that I've been such a fool for the past few years, yet I have no regreats. I will make the same choice if time goes back.
I've realized what are the truely valuable things in life.
I've realized that real friendship aren't those never confront difficulities, but those determined to work it out together.
I've realized that life isn't that long as I thought.
