Watched a movie at the office today. Actually,it's a documentary of a man called Ami and his remarkable journey. Ami was diagnosed with spinal muscular dystrophy when he was one year old and was predicted that he wouldn't live to grow up. Unable to move any part of his body except his one finger, he is just like anyone of us- want to fulfill his dreams. Like his friend said, "the only differences between Ami and us is just the weight. "
So he left Isreal and started his journey in America. From the beginning, his parents wanted him to gave up and even in the middle of the journey, his friend wanted him to quit because of his physical condition. Ami just didn't want to. He said," death is something that happens...either you want it or you don't want it...it happens. I won't say I'm not afraid of dying. I just hope that when I die, I die after I fulfill all my dreams."

A friend of mine once said that he wasn't sure he completely open with ppl, so maybe ppl have a better opinion about him than he deserve. How much I like ppl who have this kind of thought know God's love for them. No matter what you have done and how much you dislike Him, God still love you and accept you as who you are and
His love has never never changed. He will never make you to accept His love if you are not willing to though. However, He will always welcome you if you draw near to Him. Besides, I'd like ppl who have this kind of thought know that if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come. (2 Corinthians 5:17)

If God doesn't give you a miracle, then you are a mircale for someone else.

My colleague asked me if I want to go on a vacation and go to Shanghai for the exhibition with her. That sounds nice as I have never been there. It will be interesting, I think, even though she think it's a little bit boring as she always go alone. It will be nice
for her to have a company. She has just came back from an exhibition in an alien country and has to go in 2 weeks. However I will probably quit soon, it will be not ok for me to do that. Such a pity!

Llibagiza was a survivor in Rwandan genocide in 1994. Her family was all killed in that genocide except her and one of her bro outside the country at that time. Listen to her story and struggle and how she forgave the killer with God's help. Here is her incrediable testimony. Like what she said, " if I can forgive, anyone can forgive".

Pastor Paterson is from UK and have been in this place for 40 years. The very first time I knew about him was I came across a programme on tv. He did the sermon all the way in Chinese. Actually, his Chinese was pretty good and I was really amazed to listen to him spoke idioms after idioms.
This week we had him came to share some messages with us. I am not going to repeat what he was talking about. There is only one thing I want to write down. He encouraged us to have "breakfast/ dinner" with Jesus everyday. Then he mentioned if we are too busy to have breakfast with Him, then we should consider to cut down our load of serving Him. I really think he is a pastor who really cares about ppl's life. In our culture, pastors seem care more about what we do for Lord rather than our spiritual life. Yes, it is our priviege to serve Him and I want to serve Him. But I agree with pastor P, our first priority should be our relationship with Him. I don't think God wnat His children work so hard for Him but don't have time to be with Him.

An old friend who lost contact for ages called me today. Of course, it's nice to hear from an old friend. It made me wonder how come we lost contact and how come we get in touch again. I guess we have been all very lazy and busy. They are definitely the best excuse.
