For many ppl, Christmas means shopping, gifts and spending money. A friend of mine thinks it's too commericalism. It's probably true in some way but I guess we can see it in another way. There is nothing wrong to show our care and love to love ones. Besides, the point is to show our care and the gift itself isn't really matter. Well, for me and I suppose many ppl think this way. A Christmas card alone or a txtwill make my day. We don't measure ppl's love for us with gifts ot its value, do we? Of course, you might say that we can show our care anyday, it doesn't have to be that day. Mm, I agree with that. Anyway, what I think is businessmen might have to do their job but we don't have to let them define the meaning for us. Somehow ppl can tell if you are really care about them or not. There is no point giving expensive gifts just to make up for them or because we suppose to do that. What ppl care is do you really care about them, I think.
For me, the meaning of Christmas is all about Christ and God's love for us. We love because He loved us first. It's not because I know how to love but because He loves me first. Before I was born, He has loved me- with unconditional love. So we want to share His love with other ppl- not just our love ones. I heard ppl say that you can give without love, but you can't love without giving. So it's all about His love- to know His love for us and to share His love with others. Isn't that great to see ppl with a big smile on their face?
