Had my breakfast at the coffee shop which runs by the owner of the guesthouse.

After explored the east of Beigan, I planed to visit the north and south of the island the second day. So my first spot was Ciaozai which used to be the popuation centre of beigan. (The ruin house in Ciaozao)

As you can see, the weather was not very good the second day. By the way, the land behind those boat is China. So closed than you can imagine. If tourists come during the summer, you can join the ecotour Bird Watching Activity and Deer Watching among 無人島

Ciaozai Fishing Village Gallery. Had a nice chat with the lady who works there.

An annocement: selling salt was banned for ordinary ppl (Manchu Dynasty). This pic was taken in the Matsu Folklore Culture Museun in Nangan as the one in Ciaozai wasn't clear enough  to read. This one is exactly the same as the one in Beigan, according to the staff working in the gallery. The location of Ciaozai Fishing Village Gallery used to be a salt barn (鹽倉) in Manchu Dynasty.

After that, I kept on walking to Bishan(Mt.Bi) which is the highest mountain in Matsu, located 298 meters above the sea level. The village on the pic is the biggest village in Beigan where i had my lunch there on day 1. The hill on the top of this pic is the Loushan Trail (pics see day 1). You can also see the runway of Beigan airport. It was so windy so i just stayed for 10 minutes.

After that, I walked back to Ciaozai and Cinbi along the coast. It's different kind of beauty in windy day.

Toward the south, I walked to tourist information in Banli. Most of ppl go to information center when they arrive a place, I did the other way around. I walked around almost everywhere with my map, then finally I went to the tourist information. To do what? Just to had a look and chatted with staff there. Actually, my purpose was to Banli Beach and the tourist information was just a bonus. If it wasn't that windy and started to rain, I'd like to stay there for a whole afternoon. You can swim in the water during the summer.

As I almost walked everywhere, the staff suggested me to go to the port along the coast and then to Mt.Nigu. So I went. I gave up on the way to Mt.Nigu though as it started raining heavily and so windy. I took the bus back to Cinbi. It was my first time took the bus. They arranged me to stay in another guesthouse which was bigger. And I shared it with other 9 who just arrived this day. There are 10 rooms in this house. Here I met a young couple with a 5 years old little boy, two girls and a girl who also travelled alone. They all just finished their trip in Nangan, therefore, we had a nice information exchange.

I was a bit tired so I went straight to bed after having a conversation with these ppl. Didn't go to the coffee shop (you can have your dinner, lunch and drinks there). The owner told me next morning that they were waiting for me.
